I have put the top images which I think are worth mentioning and how I could use them in my magazine.

This is medium shot showing the body and the dress. this is a good image for using in my magazine. the mood I wanted to create is the warmness and welcome of Bollywood music. the model is directly looking at it( direct mode of address). howveevr there's no expression or feelings created in here. 

This pose is quite cherrish and sweetish look. This picture can be used in double page spread. The atmosphere created here is the feeling of jolly and the idea that this is about her.

This image is quite effective and beautiful in its way. I would certainly try to use this image but it doesn't create any sophistication or elegant feeling. It just shows a simple girl being happy. The shot used is medium shot again. 

This picture brings a glow and eye catching effect this is because when one of my peer looked at the image she found it quite impressive as in the way the model is looking at the audience.It almost brings out the jazziness/passionate of herself. Medium close up to imply the background and bring the whiteness with the colour pink.

This is a nice and simple effective image that I can use. The mood that she creates is a feeling of celebration and she almost welcomes you with her smile.The shot in here is medium close up and this shot matched with this image nicely.

The idea that is demonstrated is that the artist is questioning and directly looking at you almost telling you only look at her. it shows the rough side of her but her feminism side as if there's smile she's trying to hide this could be because the model wants to emphasize who she is.

This image is one of my favourite image this is because the use of direct mode of address directly appeals to audience eye. It's been posed and expressed in a different stylish way as the artist is trying to bring her personality outside. This is a long shot and this shot matches with the image perfectly since some use of shots don't some images.

In here the model isn't looking at the reader. She's portrayed herself in a different manner as. I I could use this image in my double page or content page to indicate a feeling that there's more about her life and her emotions.

The expression being made here is the idea of coolness and funky feeling. Her sitting in the chair shows her chill , bright and fun side of her. Again a medium shot being used. But however I don't think it portrays the eagernesses for her music but at the same time confidence feeling which is what I'm looking for in these images.

This is a sophistication and formal expression. This in a simple and attractive image. It creates a passion, control, authority. This is medium close up shot. on the other hand will it match with my story of the cover because within a effectual story or cover there's a successful model that matches with the cover/ story without any mistakes.

The smiling and the beauty in this icon forms an exceptional look that it is quite expensive to find. Its a warm image that appeals to audience quickly and giving the audience to love her and to know more about her.

since the model is looking down,  to me it doesn't create any special or photographic effect. It's medium shot but it should have been close up holding the model face to show her shyness maybe.

Looking up at an audience like that shows the soft and youthful side. The photo gives an childish glance, her fun side honestly. But it could have been much amazing if it was close up.

One of my peer said this images gives a perfect dominant, complexity of her personality and her sophisticated emotion.I would definitely use this image preferably in my double page as the story will start with how she survived in the music industry from all the criticisms. 

The appearance in here is like a wise girl, making you feel I'm who I'm. The artist wishes to express herself more properly so that her audience would understand her. But she almost tells us that not everyone cares or listens ( close medium shot gives a feeling of need).

Finally this images is totally different from all the magazines. I like the expression of her questionable face , it makes me feel that she's not happy with what is going around her.It feels like she has a lot to say but is silenced because of something mysterious is stopping her.  

My Content page and double page spread devlopment

This is how I started off my contents page with writings and numbers.

Later then I placed the image. I have decided to place like that because the image suits with it the feature section. 

I took a different picture by phone from an art. I started wirings the feature section.

This is my final outlook with how I'm planning to end it. But however since I have to put original images I choosed not to do that. SO therefore the final look for my contents page is 

In here two images are there only of the same model. The review section is filled with the comments from the writer.

Then I slowly put the images one by one in the position I think it should be. I puted the pull quotes in.

My front cover construction

As you can see this is my construction towards my front cover. This is look. I have placed the model first to make it more easier for me to understand.

I have put pink and black to match it.It looks good in  a  way.

This is how I'm doing my cover on. There's a large teaser at the left side for the reader to read it but this attracts to the audience quickly.

Font style for my magazines my first idea for the masthead BUT HOWEVER YOU CAN SEE MY FINAL MASTHEAD I HAVE CHOOSED

With having 7 different types of font will make it easier for me to choose the style of journalism I want for my magazine.However I'm going to illustrate why I might not choose it or which one I might end up choose.

This font is quite cheesy and almost a zebrures font. Its unique and creative but however I don't think it matches with my magazine genre. It doesn't fit to the idea of Bollywood.

Simple and would appeal  to both male and female audience. This masthead looks quite strict on the idea that It's not letting any messages or ideology about the magazine.It doesn't represent anything. I think this type of typeface is better for hip pop or indie type genre.

This style of typeface is plain, clear and eleagant in terms of creating the spring effect, a spread out of the letter. The letters are tall, thin and separate indicating them as modern, striking and a bit of feminine. This font would be more appealing to females but if its done it black only it could attract males. However I want a typeface that suits both gender and indicate the class its aiming.  

This a thick and thin font. This font i choose in the first places because i thought it might suits it but I believe this typeface suits more into journalism of health or other types of magazine. It doesn't suit to my magazine . It makes it look more poor.

This font would work well with all the genres of music magazine. Its clear and bold enough to represent it. As you can see I have outlines 4 typefaces this font could bring, but the letters need to be bit close. Its a font that immediately wants you attension just into the masthead. It could suit my magazine but it doesn't get into the mood of Bollywood warm and passionateness since in my font I want to bring the passionate of Bollywood music.

This font is a dark and echoing something. This is what I felt. Its a bit of curvy in the idea of sizing the letter. but the each letter looks like squashed within it self.Its bent but bold. this type of font suits into more African genre of music magazine. hence keeping it clear my target audience want a font that clear, bold, fashionable, sophisticated, eligible sadly this font doesn't follow any of these . 

This font is quite fat but stands out in its own creative layout way. Its close but separated a bit. It brings out the formality but it doesn't connotes the music passion or rhythm. it suits more for fashion magazine.Its big, eye catching and modern. It forms a sense of strangeness from my perspective. 

TO conclude none of these typefaces matches with my magazine therefore I have tried my the colour i wanted but I have also introduced a different and fresh masthead.

In here as You CAN SEE I HAVE USED PINK AND BLACK THIS IS BECAUSE FIRSTLY A FONT CAN LOOK STYLISH WITH ANY COLOUR BUT ITS ALSO WHAT'S ITS ABOUT THE TYPEFACE. OVERALL LBL MASTHEAD I DON'T WILL SUIT MY MAGAZINE BECAUSE IT DOESN'T THAT ITS A BOLLYWOOD OR A MUSIC MAGAZINE. THIS IS THE MAIN CONCERN THAT I HAVE BECAUSE A READER SHOULD IDENTIFY WHAT THE GENRE OF MAGAZINE IS AND IT WOULDN'T INTEREST MY MAGAZINE AT ALL SINCE IF THE MASTHEAD ISN'T CATCHING AND SMASHING MEMORABLE TITLE THEN THERE'S NO GUARANTEE THE REST OF THE COVER LINES IS GOING TO BE INTERESTING. THEREFORE I HAVE DECIDED TO CHOOSE ANOTHER ONE AND THIS TIME I DIDN'T THINK TOO MUCH WHETHER ITS DESIGNABLE OR PERFECT BUT IT SHOULD MATCH MY AUDIENCE NEED AND MY NEED TOWARDS MY MAGAZINE.HENCE BOLLY R IS GOING TO BE MY FINAL MASTHEAD FOR MY MAGAZINE THIS IS BECAUSE IT CONNOTES THE GENRE OF MAGAZINE ITS AIMED, IT EASILY HIGHLIGHTS ITS  MUSIC MAGAZINE AS WELL. I BELIEVE THAT THE MASTHEAD WILL PERFECTLY MATCH WITH THE MAGAZINE. AND I'M SURE THE AUDIENCE WILL LIKE IT. 

Front cover , double page spread and poses ideas for my model and magazines covers

 This picture is really effective in terms catching the attention of the background , we can understand that it's related to nature and her green dress which matches perfectly with the background colour. The idea that I feel i could take is the way the whole background is used to show and create an intense effect both within inside and outside the image.

The smiling in this model gives us a fresh and cold hearted feeling to look at it. The whole background perfectly matches with the black dress. With using less texts  creates a unusual reaction to the image as black with grey colour is associated with power and self confident. So the pose of the model completes the meaning of the whole background . In this image the use of short texts gives an unique idea for my cover since many magazine cover these days have separated texts in the whole page. 

This beautiful naturalistic photo makes it feel us the warm summer time that we enjoy . The natural background structures the image of the model nicely since the costume of the model is so simple but it makes it beautiful in its use of simplicity. The whole page makes feel so warm as well as it reminds me that summer is coming / summer remembrance. Throughout the page I like the use of background with how they used simple photograph like its so simple even with the model.

I really adore this front cover because i love the way the red colour background is implied in here and it looks so excellent as in moderating the model pose but the teasers at the same for e.g with in this front cover we get to focus more on the model as her red lipstick matches with the red background. Both the model and the red background is portrayed perfectly  which implies that it's ELLE magazine as ELLE magazine is famous in terms of its fashionable pose in the front cover.I could use this type of red background for my front cover or for my contents page as target audience is mainly on females.

This photograph is effective in its use of the camera the way its captured because they use of direct mode of address consumes its audience because her eyeliner almost takes our focus on her implying her nationality shes as if shes trying to be in the mode of 1900s. It matches with the background as the choice of dress is perfect.

In this magazine  the use of  red brings text and images to the foreground.  And the grey colour adds an atmosphere of classic style as the red hits it to show her authority in the cover that she captured. The red, black, white and grey compromises in order to show the purpose of the magazine. I think the purpose of the magazine is to that  age has nothing to do with style as you can always wear your style and be your own beauty queen. I like the use of grey background with red  as it contrast the meaning of two colours differently. 

black and white photography creates an easy , peace and moody tone especially her direct mode of address makes the image more superior in terms of the use colours of black and white. It almost shows the true personality of Katy perry because its in black and white allowing us to judge her look differently rather than in colour she would have used make up but in here you can almost see her truth person of her since the colours shows more deeply about her. I would love to use black and white but I might use it in my contents page. It depends on the colour that I use for my contents page. 

Similarly we see the formality and the mysterious tone being created as the headline is quite a strange " Rebel". since her whole image dominated half of the background it represents the powerful impact she has on the music industry and her famousness she created through her music career. The white reflects her personality and the emotion that she has kept inside herself for so long time. I would prefer to use white as I like white because its a simple and peace colour that has more than one meaning and can be used on any sort of background. 

In this photography we can see light gold warm image and that effect is created by the gold reflector. It casts a very strong warm light onto the model outstretching her beauty in a sophisticated way. As well as the image certainly makes it more glowing however at the same time it reflects a strong vibration of her beauty and personality. when editing my image I often use gold,light brown, sunny warm background to create a natural effect on my images. I will use gold reflector for my photography on black board. 

As you can see both these images used a white reflector to create a very soft and perfection character of them. It almost brings their character out into the natural world but the red lipstick adds to the emotion of power that they still want in their life. But at the same time it tries to show their purity that artists have . This colourful image enlightens the mood of the magazine from my point view. It  On the other hand it also creates cold and sensational mood. I would definately  use red lipstick and black eye-liner in a darker way. This type of look suits more in the fashion glamour way.

This cover is magnificent in the way it looks this is because the choice of everything in this photo perfectly suits it with it white&brown dress, old wall with flower. It brings the sensation of the feeling that it's in 1900s and also for me it makes me feel warm and cosy as the way she's looking at us. I love the way where the texts is placed upside and it engages me to read further. I would love to use certain summer type of background as it fascinates the image with more warmness and welcome. 

The reflection of the two character created because of the costume , implies her femininity of her life and the beauty  of her. I'm not sure why she's wearing suit but a short dress at the same time, maybe since she's more of a liberating person in certain things and the wearing of suits shows the liberty that she possessed in herself and doesn't let anyone else to take her . The use of mirrors is another technique to reflect the character that she has hidden to herself. But what makes it gripping is the fact of the title being behind her illustrating that she's controller of everything and the main focus. The position of the texts suits it as well and the shadow used in the texts creates an unusual formal effect to makes us read more.
